Established in 2021, The Book Party has created a unique bookish community for readers and writers.
Now Book Town brings the joy of our live events to a friendly digital space. Guests no longer have to wait for our biannual parties to meet and mingle, they can build friendships, network, and promote their interests all year round in a private space, designed specifically for their needs.
The ‘Town’ is split into different digital ‘buildings’ or ‘venues’, each with their own individual purpose and vibe.

Marple Cottage
The Hildegard

The Town Hall serves as a venue for meetings, announcements, and sharing important updates. Our Gallery Beaubeau provides a platform for Book Town residents to exchange photos. Books ‘n’ Buns is our charming bookshop and café, where readers can gather to discuss their current reads, expanding TBR lists, and swap recommendations.

We offer exclusive spaces designed for both readers and writers. Marple Cottage provides an environment where readers can openly share their thoughts and engage in discussions about the books they are enjoying. Meanwhile, The Hildegard serves as a club for authors seeking to talk about their ongoing projects, share publishing experiences, and provide each other with valuable advice.

Every town thrives on its nightlife, and Book Town is no different! The Stardust Cinema serves as a venue for streaming videos, where we will host exciting watch-along parties. Marrs Bar acts as our nightclub, allowing residents to connect through video messages and voice notes. Cocktails are available, but entirely optional!
